I love my public library here in Berkeley! I found “Shaking the Family Tree” among the new books when I was browsing this week. (Great timing for me, since I am working on my own “next” book, which has some overlapping themes.) I’m really enjoying it! I was also thrilled to find some photos of your trip south (and your cousin Mooner on some earlier blog posts.
